Lifetime Warranty

Every HHC harness is covered for the lifetime of the original purchaser's ownership of the vehicle against defects in materials and workmanship. We build these harnesses with better materials than the factory used, and we stand behind them.

This warranty is non-transferable. If you sell the vehicle, warranty coverage does not pass to the new owner.

Warranty Registration Required

Register within 30 days of purchase to activate your Lifetime Warranty. Your harness ships with a warranty card containing a QR code — scan it or visit the link below to register.

Without registration, your harness is still covered for 1 year from the date of purchase.

What's Covered

Anything that's our fault under normal use:

• A crimp that pulls out or fails
• A wire that breaks at a stress point
• A connector pin that was bent or improperly seated during assembly
• Insulation that cracks or degrades under normal operating temperatures
• Incorrect pinouts or wiring errors
• Shrink tubing, sheathing, or shielding breakdown from a manufacturing defect
• Any solder joint, terminal, or splice that fails due to our workmanship

What's Not Covered

• Physical damage from installation or removal (stretched wires, forced connectors, cut insulation)
• Damage from vehicle conditions (fire, coolant or oil soaking, contact with exhaust components)
• Modifications — if you cut, splice, or add wires to the harness
• Rodent damage after installation
• Damage from bypassed, missing, or incorrectly rated fuses
• Normal wear in extreme abuse conditions beyond the harness's rated specs

The warranty covers defects in the harness itself. It does not cover driveability issues caused by other vehicle components. A harness replacement will not fix a bad CPS, failing IDM, worn injectors, or any other component issue. See our Diagnostic Checklist if you're unsure whether a harness is the right fix.

How Warranty Claims Work

Step 1: Contact us at alan@hardcoreharnessco.com and describe the issue. Photos help. We'll troubleshoot with you to make sure it's actually the harness and not something else in the truck.

Step 2: If it looks like a warranty issue, ship the defective module(s) to us. You only need to send back the affected module — not the entire harness. Customer pays return shipping.

Step 3: We inspect the module within 3 business days of receiving it. If the defect is covered under warranty, we ship a replacement module within 2 business days at no charge. If the damage isn't warrantable, we'll explain what we found and offer a paid repair or replacement at cost.

Repair Services

Made a mistake during install? Damaged a connector? We offer paid repair services for HHC harnesses — even for damage that isn't covered by warranty.

Because of our modular design, most repairs only involve a single module. This means faster turnaround and lower cost than repairing a traditional one-piece harness. Reach out with photos and we'll give you a quote.

Return Policy

Installed harnesses cannot be returned. Once any module has been connected to a vehicle, it is considered installed and is not eligible for return or refund.

Uninstalled harnesses may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, minus a 15% restocking fee. The harness must be in original packaging with all modules and components included, and show no signs of installation or use. Customer pays return shipping.

eBay Purchases

If you bought through eBay, you're covered by both eBay's buyer protection (30 days) and our lifetime warranty.
